Positions

Positioning is a challenge for every beginner, it can be difficult to begin with but by creating a practicing game based on players running to different spots but call them out before they reach it. You can easily play around with this kind of games to help new players learn the positions and find their own and mates positions.

How to Shoot

Shooting is very important in this game and learning to shoot is one of the most important keys to this game and it's also very fun to practice. BEEF (an acronym by the way) is the art of shooting, designed to teach you the actions at the beginning without a ball and one mastered the ball is yours:

B Stands for Balance: The first step in the shooting is balanced and that can be done with strong legs that must always hold your balance and are shoulder-width apart.

E Stands for Eyes: Eyes on the target every time you shoot. beginners can use this helpful trick by imaging a floating object above the netball ring and go for the shoot.

E stands for Elbow: This an important step. Start with an Elbow facing the ring and Stretching your arms over your head and the elbow should keep up the same position while getting ready for the shoot by bending your arms backward and forward and it will be enough for an exact shoot.

F stands for Follow Through: Every shoot count either you make it or miss. You follow through by making a flick of the wrist.

Not stepping

You may meet few difficulties with this one as well but using these techniques which is a pretty fun game to practice called the Ice-Cream is an effective exercise. Start by lining the players along the baseline and they will have to run until you blow the whistle when the whistle is blown they will have to do a slow jump and end landing on the first foot while calling "ICE" then placing their second foot on the ground and yell "CREAM"

Catching and Passing

Having fun and enjoying your time while practicing without putting yourself like injury or even others is basic so we will start to master catching and passing using a small beanbag while placing the beginner player into a circle and pass them the small beanbag Start by the right-hand side then change to the left and other directions it is also very important to aim for chest height. You can introduce the ball later in the practice. Make sure they focus to learn accuracy and evolve strength for a better passing.

Movement

Make sure all players stand along the baseline while standing in front of them and start calling movements you want them to do. Players have practice and try different movements until they feel comfortable with it. Also, a helpful tip is that player watch each other so that they can learn from each other because some players will do well despite being a beginner and this will make sure other beginners that may find difficulties will learn.

Defending

Defending is a very important thing to keep up with because this element is a real heavy challenge that beginners should consider and try to master it. There is this awesome simple exercise where a pair of players stand facing one another, the first player to make any sort of moves he's comfortable and good with while the second player tries to copy every bit of it. This will help defenders easily deal with the opposition player.

Conclusion

Netball is an enjoyable Sport to dive into and for every Beginner out there: You should always remember that passion and persistent practicing are your loyal company through the start of their journey.
